To be a good illustrator it is important to be able to capture the world and make something identifiable and accurate. To adapt my drawing skills I was given the brief to do a variety of still life arangements and objects to diversify the subjects of what I draw.
As a warm up exercise we were given a variety of objects to draw, some we were blind folded, some we only focused on shading and some were composition themed. This helped to understand the variety of things to keep in mind when creating an image. These also ranged in time scales from 3-10 minutes, which also diversified the way I worked on each image.
My biggest image was the size of the drawing and how to fit it to the page, a lot of the composition ideas aren’t quite what i wanted however the basic shapes and shading of each object went well.
